Here is the film we watched on Tuesday, which was created by two very significant visual artists of the 20th century– Charles Sheeler and Paul Strand. Note that the intertitles (pdf) of this film are taken from Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass and other poems. Any student of US American culture should know who Whitman is.
