The most obvious way to prepare for the midterm– beyond having read the assignments– is to look over all of the VIAL posts on this blog since the beginning of the semester. There you’ll find notes on some of our readings, in addition to film clips and whole documentaries. Recall also that I recommended the documentary on Dreiser and the American Dream available through Films on Demand, which is located at the library home page.
